EWI^® has sustained its purposes and standards over the years because of the hundreds of exemplary women who have served as volunteers on boards and committees.

EWI^® is directed by a volunteer corporate board that provides quality leadership and guidance. Chapters are also managed by volunteer boards, elected by representatives of the chapter.

EWI's International Headquarters is dedicated to serving the needs of member representatives, firms, chapters, and boards. Staff members produce the International Directory and Pulse magazine, maintain membership and financial records, and provide organizational continuity.
